Provided below is the information you will need to reserve hotel rooms for the 2002 USA Rugby National Sevens Club Championships and High School Invitational Tournament that will be held August 10-11 in Conshohocken, PA. The Philadelphia-Whitemarsh Rugby Football Club (PWRFC) has gone to great lengths to secure a hotel/meeting facility that meets the requirements of all players, referees and USA Rugby.
The Sheraton Park Ridge Hotel & Conference Center will be the host hotel for this year’s event. We have secured a block of rooms sufficient for the tournament use and a back-up hotel should we sell out the entire hotel. The overall room rate for everyone is $98/night (either single, double, triple OR quad occupancy). The room rate is effective from 8/8 to 8/12. Keyword for getting that rate is "Rugby. This rate is based on PWRFC's commitment to fill our reserved room block, so it is important/required that all teams and associated dignitaries utilize the Sheraton Park Ridge’s facilities.

Reservation Procedure
Reservation procedures have been simplified this year to give each team administrator one item to fill out to secure rooms for each respective club. Attached is the USA Rugby Group Rooming List. Please fill the information on your team (such as player’s names, credit card information, arrival, and departure dates) and include any special needs/requests your group may have. Please fax the completed Rooming List form to the Sheraton. The fax number is (610) 337-4506 for reservations no later than July 25, 2002. PWRFC cannot be held responsible for lack of rooms or higher rates after this date.It is best to do this as soon as your team qualifies. The hotel will send you a confirmation via fax, email or call each club’s designated administrator using the information you provide on the Rooming List. Please be advised of several issues relating to your stay at Nationals.
- The Sheraton is the key contact point for all of the teams and the Tournament Executive Committee.
- Team check-in and the Coaches, Managers and Captain’s meeting is held on Friday August 9th at the Hotel.
- Any changes in the schedule of events are posted in the lobby of the hotel. If you are not there, you will not know what is happening and could miss you game(s). If your club’s seven are not on the field at the scheduled time, the game is a forfeit.
