June 21st 3rd annual Make a Difference for Dutch Walk

Once again we have a tremendous opportunity to 'Make a Difference' and help those in the PMP-appendix Cancer community by raising funds towards PMP Cancer research and education.
On Fathers Day, June 21st we will hold the 3rd annual 'Make a Difference for Dutch' PMP Cancer Walk. As many of you know this walk began after our beloved Family member and friend, Frank 'Dutch' Culbertson lost his courageous battle to PMP Cancer.
Our mission has always been to honor Dutch's memory, create awareness, raise funds for research and education for PMP. We are continuing that mission this year but are setting our fundraising goals higher than in the past. PMP Cancer remains an orphan disease and lacks funding for research. The sense of urgency to increase fundraising is to impact this disease and those affected by it as quickly as possible. Those patients, especially in our community, need our help.

We hope to increase our fund raising results by increasing the numbers of walkers, expanding individual sponsorship of walkers, creating teams and attracting principle corporate sponsors. The PMP Cancer Walk has pledged a minimum of 75% of this years donations to the PMP Research FOUNDATION @ PMPcure.org ,including all 501(c) 3 donations. The remaining 25% is earmarked for medical education in our community.
