MARFU LAU Men's Collegiate & Women's U-23 All-Star Event sponsored by PWRFC and Phily Women
Philadelphia Whitemarsh will be hosting the MARFU LAU Men's Collegiate & Women's U-23 All-Star Event on Saturday November 19, 2005 and Sunday November 20, 2005.
The Men's Collegiate All Stars from the Virginia Rugby Union, Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union and Potomac Rugby Union. Once again Philadelphia Whitemarsh will be bringing top flight collegiate rugby to Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia Women are assisting with the fields and as co-hosts to the tournament which will also showcase the best women's collegiate rugby MARFU has to offer.
The tournament championship is on Sunday as is the Men's MARFU Division III championship.
This event is free, though donations are being taken to cover the expenses on the day.
Food and beverages will be available, but no alcohol is allowed at the event. Steamroller rugby will be on hand with tournament t-shirts and other gear.
Special thanks goes to EPRU President Steve Cohen for his assistance with the event and as MARFU liason and event officer for the LAU Tournament.
