 our new bundle of joy!
Hi - sorry for the delay (yes, it's been over a month)......but finally, here are some pictures of our new bundle of joy! Gibbs Emerson DiRemigio was born on Aug. 28th at 4:26 pm in Alexandria, VA. He weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. He's got a pretty full head of hair already and we think blue/green eyes (but that could change I guess).
He was about 10 days early after Julie's 'fluid was low' (it's like a trip to Jiffy Lube). So, after 2 days in the hospital trying to 'get things going', he finally came into the world with a c-section. But all is fine - Mom and baby are both healthy and happy.....even Daddy is hangin' in there with dirty diapers and feeding :-)
Now, Gibbs is just over 1 month old and sleeping 'ok' (in about 3 hour chunks).....so, things are a bit tired here in the DiRemigio home, but all is well. We're loving this baby beyond belief. In fact, he's already made it to 2 rugby games to see Daddy (and even to the pub afterwards for the post-game celebration).
Not much crying so far - just for hunger and dirty diapers....so we're happy about that!
