Fort Lauderdale will never be the same
After a good night of camaraderie at the Parrot Friday night the Dirty Dog's arrived Saturday primed to take on tournament favorites Virginia Cardinals. The Cardinals already had one game under their belt and our lack of playing time together (although we had ample drinking time the night before) showed. We lost a tight match 11 to 3 that everyone knew we could have won.
Everyone was now very pissed off because non of us came here to lose. We took it out on the Florida Old boys (FOBS) and crushed them 31 to 12. Men of that match went to Dave McCarthy and Joe Grohosky for delivering some attitude to the FOBS. We next played Atlanta, I don't remember the score but we crushed them. Spiros played a strong game at fullback after replacing Kimo who had just done his bull fighter imitation moving out of the runners way as he went in to score. Andy Rosato made sure to remind him of that the next 2 nights.
Sunday night 12 of us went to South Beach for a night on the town and the beach the next day (topless beach of course). We all saw lots of interesting sights, I highly recommend everyone go there next year.
