In the Spring of 1994 88 attended the banquet held at the Marriott in Conshohocken. Most improved player John Whitey Walton and players player Marcus Maffei. The spring season Saw us pitted against PAC, Boston and Old Blue in the superleague unfortunately we are missing the whole spring season results in the club records. In June New Tredegar came to visit Socially it was a great success. On the field? Memory fades. At the AGM Bud Frick was reelected, Captain Steve Rae, Secretary Tony Studdy and Barry McCarthy was reelected Treasurer. We got a new field, Suttcliffe Park in Conshohocken, the fellowship house for showers and the clubhouse nearby so we had no excuse for not going back to the clubhouse after practice and games. Justin Barrett and Eion Evans from New Zealand joined the club as a result of networking at the Golden Oldies. The new Premier League was explained. In our group there are 4 Potomac teams Washington, PAC, Nova and Exiles and e EPRU teams PW, Bethlehem, South Jersey and Wilmington. Top 3 advance to the next round against winners from Met NY and New England. George Betzler was nominated and elected as Honorary Life Vice President. The fall season of 1994 opened with a loss to Washington 43-15 followed by a loss to the Exiles 38-13 and a tie with Wilmington 27-27 then NOVA lost 28-13 and PAC lost 42-13 things are looking gloomy. The rest of the season was a different story back in the EPRU we beat Bethlehem 81-13 and South Jersey 74-5. Efforts were still being made to raise Clubhouse Development Funds The club publicly thanked the following shareholders of the Philadelphia Rugby Corp. who generously agreed to donate their shares to the club.
